King Henry VIII - English pewter

• This figure is of Henry VIII became King of England in 1509. During the period 1511-1529 he pursued an active foreign policy under the guidance of Thomas, later Cardinal, Wolsey. Henry was the first English monarch to have a navy and founded the Royal Armouries, at the Tower of London, 1515. In 1534 Henry separated the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church and established the reformation in England. 

• Hand made in England from fine English pewter.  It stands proudly on a black marble base.  Also included is a metal plate which can be engraved.  The plate is sticky backed and the photo shows one already stuck on.  However, it is left seperate for ease of engraving. 

• Would make an ideal personalised gift.
